TEMPUS STET, EDWARD HARLEY factories offer products which cannot be distinguished from antiquarian, - the same materials, and the same figure. It seems, that there is a fascinating story behind each thing: the bronze head of the elephant or a lion excites with echoes of the colonial past; tips of arrows and the cracked horn is, certainly, the hunting trophies; and the steel core fastened in sea unit, is a tribute to traditions of navigation. The color scale is under construction on a combination of gold with black or mahogany. Even in a modern collection of eaves Phonetic Alphabet from EDWARD HARLEY, alongside with tips in the form of a transparent ball for golf, the stylized figure of the door-keeper or the handle of a sword (”Romeo”), expected gold ornaments are presented: laurel wreath, a plume from feathers, an original carved ornament (”India”). However, “archaic” eaves can be used only in a corresponding context that is in traditional “English” interiors, exacting to quality of the smallest details and their careful selection. If to speak about modern trends transparent bars for the curtains, made of acryl, are worth of especial attention. It seems that the fabric fixed on them is simply groundless. There is also a set of metal-plastic eaves, in which bearing metal core is hidden under or behind an elegant plastic environment.
According to historically developed traditions, curtains are subdivided to following attributes: geographical or national (Austrian, Italian, London, Roman, French, and Japanese); and technological (rolled, crossed, curtains-screens, curtains with pelmets). At last, types of curtains can have names behind which associative images (for example, curtains in style “cafe”) are hidden. This variety of kinds dictates both features of a cut of a fabric, and ways of its fastening at a window.
The choice of an eaves and way of fastening is dictated not only by aesthetic reasons, but also by design features of a premise. So, if partitions are executed from gypsum cardboard, they any more will not sustain a bar under a heavy portiere. It is necessary either to choose the facilitated variant with string eaves, or to fix eaves on a ceiling.
It is necessary to study more closely a design of the eaves. At identical, at first sight, mechanisms from different manufacturers some significant distinctions occur. Let’s take, for example, such insignificant detail, as metal rings on which the curtain moves on a bar. At one manufacturer they are made homogeneous, at others - an internal surface of the ring adjoining a bar has a teflon covering. As a result, the curtain moves along a window more freely and absolutely silently. This nuance, certainly, raises the price of a product, but for nurseries and bedrooms the disposal from such active noise irritator is very desirable, if it is not necessary.

We spend about 1/3 of our livetime not only in bed but at our workplaces also. Therefore the better we manage the workplace, the better mood we have while our working time and the more results we obtain in the career. To improve these results an Ancient Chinese science “Feng Shui” can definitely help us.
One of the major ideas of Feng Shui is to pay more attention to your workplace decoration including its colors. According to Feng Shui each color is an expression of the certain kind of energy. Color is able not only to affect our mood, but also has an influence at our health. That’s why and type of modern fashionable white & black & grey offices are absolutely harmful for the health as they have only three colors. To say true - there have no one color! Grey color is a type of black color and black is not color and white color is not visible for your eyes. We see black when the surface reflects nothing and only absorbs light.
White is color indifferent one and therefore doesn’t have any energy. The same we can say about the influence of the variety of too bright tones. The motley color scale attracts attention only in the first moment and to stay in such interior is rather tediously. So the advice is to use more “gold” tones while your workplace decotation. They are light orange, yellow, beige, “coffee with milk” color, warm red tone and calming green color.

Operative open space
Working (operative) armchairs for employees, perhaps, are the most numerous and demanded kind of places for sitting at office. For convenience of moving they are supplied with small wheels, which are usually fixed on a five-beam support. The armchair should easily go for a drive silently both on fleecy, and on a smooth surface. Presence of armrests which absence can be justified only extreme narrowness of office space is desirable. Characteristic quantity for a qualitative armchair of various adjustments is not less than 5-7. And all of them are equally important. It is possible to allocate systems of adjustment of a back, a seat and armrests and mechanisms of amortization. Levers of management of an armchair should settle down, that refers to, on distance of the extended hand. Usually it is considered, that the most convenient armchair is to be offered to the employee spending on work a maximum of time, for example, to the secretary. However in practice not all heads adhere to this installation. Trying to save, they choose inexpensive armchairs which not only quickly fail for employees, but also harm to health of people. In opinion of experts, the price of a qualitative ergonomic armchair should make not less than US 500 dollars.
In the majority of the large companies special premises for holding conferences, seminars, trainings, presentations or assemblies are stipulated. Their conditions include places for sitting, which depending on the purposes and problems of actions, can be stationary or mobile. Last type is usually applied in multipurpose premises. Here transformed partitions, harmonious and mobile furniture by means of which it is possible to generate a necessary working environment easily and quickly are pertinent. Armchairs in such halls, as a rule, have folding seats (for compactness) and are often supplied with small harmonious table-tops for convenience of conducting records. These models usually have no adjustments to not create inconvenience to associates. Ergonomics is provided only with a configuration of seats and backs. And, in opinion of experts, correctly made rigid armchairs on convenience concede nothing to the soft armchairs. Such “too comfortable” models are not made in order to not to reduce concentration of attention of conferences’ participants. Concerning the decorative materials the most practical synthetic fabrics, for example, on the basis of polyester are applied. They are distinguished with a comprehensible parity of the price, aesthetic appeal and durability.
Waiting for a dialogue
Separate type of office armchairs is represented by armchairs and chairs for trunk-call rooms. Located in a cabinet of the head, this furniture can supplement its interior or be an independent stylistic element. In isolated trunk-call armchairs on design usually correspond to a table or other subjects. More often they have no wheels as superfluous movements can distract from dialogue. A cross in trunk-call should be convenient, however not so that it would be desirable to remain long. The furniture for expectation is established in a reception hall. The main task is to provide comfort of short-term stay of the visitor. Strong armchairs, sofas with non-spottable coverings or even simple chairs if that supposes the status of a premise will be optimum here. The design of furniture for this zone, as a rule, is strict, laconic and is even conservative. Any angular forms are quite pertinent. In some cases the zone of expectation can be combined with trunk-call and carry out functions of a zone for informal dialogue of employees and visitors digging.

Many of us spend the most part of day in sitting position. That is why it so important to choose office armchair, which would not only help with work, but would also care of our health. Physicians approve, that loading on a backbone of the sitting person is approximately ten times more, than lying. But it is not an occasion to lead a life on a sofa. It is more reasonable to arrange the work so that as small as possible to feel the burdens of sedentary inactive work. Basically, an armchair, a sofa or a chair are the usual subjects of office furniture. They should be reliable and convenient in application and look attractive and presentable. However seats are much “closer to a body”, than, a table or a wardrobe. At a choice of office armchairs and chairs it is important to estimate not only the external advantages of products, but it is necessary to sit in it. The correct choice of a place for sitting guarantees you comfort and working capacity for long years.
Armchair for the boss is the important component of internal and external image of the company. It should be solid, correspond to stylistics of a premise and design of other subjects of an interior. By means of an armchair the boss can emphasize the own status before subordinates and business partners or clients - a level of the company as a whole. Therefore a place for director does first of all presentable, sometimes even to the detriment of its ergonomics. It is especially important that the armchairs should be made of expensive and qualitative materials. It can be the rare breeds of tree, leather. Combinations of materials - for example, leather and fabrics are rather popular. Natural clap or wool can be used as inserts. Mixed fabrics, on 10-80 % consisting of wool and on 10-15 % - from polystyrene - are very practical. Armchairs are usually made with replaceable covers that simplifies care of furniture. Top-managers often use models, not almost differing from operative armchairs.

Spring has finally come! Spring is a time of a general avitaminosis when in a head there are so much light and fresh ideas, and you don’t have any forces for their realization. The matter is that the weariness and tiredness which have accumulated during the winter. Today we advise you to fill the house with vitamins, which will help to lift vitality.
Energy Of The Sun
Yellow color, almost as chocolate, speeds up work of a brain and helps to solve challenges without a special pressure. Unfortunately, cabinets often make out in dark, black or brown tones (for solidity), greater office premises are interpreted in cold and transparent white-blue colors. It is no wonder that the first one makes a psychological pressure on the person, and the second one does not allow to concentrate - useful ideas disappear through white-blue colors, as through air. So, yellow color should become the ally among the representatives of creative and intellectual trade. Not without reason even the bulb - an eternal symbol of the arisen idea - is also shone by fervent yellow color!
Designers, psychologists and dieticians unanimously recommend using this color for the kitchen’s interior. It stimulates healthy appetite and promotes a well-known warm and cozy atmosphere when the kitchen unites functions of rooms for negotiations, a hall for meetings, and a pantry for secrets.
And nevertheless, being an excellent medicine for melancholy and chronic weariness, yellow color is moderately good. It is not necessary to be surrounded with subjects of exclusively yellow color - it can become the reason of irritability and excessive excitability.
Emerald Effect
Similarly to yellow, green color has the most different shades - dark and light, warm and cold, that allows using it in an interior of any style. It is possible to not to be limited to wall-papers or textiles. Indoor plants, a picturesque kind on park in the open window - all these are the aspects of deep color of freshness and rest.
However, green can be not only gentle, sated, but it also can be poisonous. Therefore, working with this color, it is better to not overload mentality with excessively bright shades and persuasive patterns. Be not mistaken with pale-green color: at all universality and even some severity of this tone it is important that it did not remind all known “hospital” a shade.
Orange Fresh
Orange color is so bright, that sometimes it is compared on force of influence with white color. It seems to burn with its light and children’s spontaneity. Anywhere, where the orange colo is represented, it would be desirable to move and to operate.
There can be an impression, that orange color does not remain any place for other bright accents. And, certainly, it is complex to imagine monochrome design in orange tones. Actually, both contrasts are possible. In fact this color, as well as other one, can be darker or lighter, more brightly or more easy. Such interior perfectly approaches for a nursery, sitting room and kitchen.
Tasty color combinations
We have considered three most energetically useful colors, and each of them is good. But we also can transform an interior into the whole multivitamin complex in which curative properties of all three shades would be combined.
Orange and green are derivatives yellow and consequently perfectly it supplement. Besides, they are well combined with each other, creating “fruit” mood in the house. It is no wonder, that such extremely appetizing combinations are often used for kitchens.
All three colors can create an interesting composition with various shades blue, dark blue both violet colors.

Superficial cleaning
Before you start any cleaning procedure it is necessary to be convinced that the carpet is reliably fixed, and then it is necessary to remove a cud from a surface of a carpet.
Cleaning by a vacuum cleaner still remains the most widespread cleaning method. It helps to remove 20-30 percent of dirt. The professional vacuum cleaners possessing the big capacity and simultaneously having low noise level are irreplaceable at daily cleaning carpets in premises with high attendance.
Superficial cleaning does not mention depth of pile and it is a “cosmetic” method, but when work is carried out with the trained stuff, the result will be quite high.
Shampoo cleaning
At cleaning by shampoo the one-disk machine supplied by washing brushes (with soft pile) is used. Such way of cleaning is based on formation of stable foam. The machine by means of a brush rubs foam which gets into fibres in a surface of a carpet, liberates dirt and incorporates them in it. It will not make the big work to remove the rests of a washing-up liquid and pollution after drying a covering.
This method is also considered as “cosmetic” one. Such method is widely used in restaurants, hotels and everywhere where the time for drying carpets is limited as it guarantees a weak humidifying a carpet.
Dry cleaning by powders or granules
The technology of dry cleaning by powders or granules assumes using machine for a floor or the machine supplied by a rotating cylindrical brush, and also a dry powder or the granules containing cleaning reagents.
In a method of dry cleaning property of granules is used and microscopic particles powders absorb dirty particles. They operate as a usual absorbing sponge.
Dry cleaning has a lot of advantages: it does not require water and does not demand time for drying the carpet. It is possible to walk on the carpet just after its cleaning.
Damp cleaning with shampoo
Damp cleaning is a method deep cleaning; it is used for cleaning strongly polluted carpet coverings. The frequency of washing is defined by the compromise between cleanliness and durability. It is obvious, that the covering should be pure. But it should serve as long as possible and, certainly, washing doesn’t prosper it. There are such places in which carpet coverings washing is practically daily done (lifts, some corridors).
For such kind of washing only the not foaming shampoos (as foaming means too deeply get into a carpet, and sometimes and in a floor which to that regularly is exposed to destroying influence) are used.

Now there is a big choice of carpets for any type of premises. Carpets do more cosy not only apartments, but also offices, therefore it is necessary to pay special attention to ways of care of them. Many large companies spend millions dollars for creation of corporate image. But incorrectly chosen program on carpet cleaning can essentially impair a little an image of firm.
Cleaning of the carpet without cleaning techniques knowledge is insufficiently effective: carpet coverings quickly wear out. And in fact for last 30 years the technology of their cleaning was considerably improved. Thus, first of all, the professional cleaner pays attention to structure of carpet covering.
In a greater part of the Europe woolen and half-woolen carpet coverings are widely used. It is considered, that the traditional woolen covering has advantages before synthetic one: it does not accumulate a static electricity and provides comfort with the softness. Its only lack is its leaky bearing against the floor.
In America and Russia synthetic carpet coverings are very popular. Constantly improving, the synthetic carpet covering becomes more attractive and more antistatic.
The higher the maintenance of natural fibres in a carpet is, the more difficult cleaning will be. The carpet from natural fibres detains dirt more actively than synthetic carpet does.
Pile and coloring
The density of pile considerably influences methods of carpet cleaning. The more densely pile is, the more dirty pieces will remain on its surface. The carpet of high quality can detain up to one kilogram of dirt on each square meter, and its pollution will be imperceptible. Usually basic store of dirt is the top part of pile is approximately 30 percent of its length.
The majority of carpets are resistant to acids. Average concentration acid means rinse improves color of the carpet, softens it and prolongs term of exploitation. Many cleaning carpets means have an alkaline basis. Their constant use is reflected in brightness of paints and can lead to partial loss of color. It is necessary to be especially close at work with multi-color carpets as coloring one part of a carpet in color borders is possible.

The parquet board is a progressive building material, it has thought up as replacement of a massive parquet board and to a piece parquet with the purpose of its cost reduction. The reasonable overlapping of firm and concerning soft breeds the wood, stable structure, easy stacking, and long service life - enable a parquet board to take a worthy place in the market of flour coverings.
In a multilayered parquet board valuable breeds of trees are used only in the uppermost layer which has the 3-4 mm thickness, other layers are carried out from less valuable breeds, more often are made of pine and fur-tree. Such design of a parquet board allows not only to lower its cost and to reduce the charge of wood of valuable breeds of trees, but also to correct some lacks inherent in a piece parquet and a parquet from a massive board. The matter is that the condition of parquet floors strongly depends on temperature and humidity conditions of the premises. So, for example, the change in humidity on 10 % leads to increase in the size of parquet from a file up to 1 square meter in width.
It is necessary to support humidity of 60 % and temperature not below 18С. As a rule, such conditions exist in city apartments only in the summer when the central heating does not work. In the winter relative humidity in an apartment often does not exceed 50 %. Any temperature and humidity conditions changes lead to piece parquet and a massive parquet board deformation.
Parquet board Floors are considerably less sensitive to the temperature and humidity conditions. Such effect is reached owing to perpendicular accommodation of layers of wood in a multilayered package. The top layer from valuable breeds of wood is placed with fibers along the long party of a board. Fibers of an average layer are placed across fibers top, and the bottom layer is pasted with fibers across previous one. In case of humidity changes wood changes the sizes basically in a cross-section direction. Layers with a perpendicular arrangement of fibers do not allow extending to the neighbors, which does not allow extending all design. Therefore the parquet board in much resistant to any humidity changes.
On the structure the top layer of a parquet board can be made in the form of a continuous plate, or is stuck together from several boards. To this attribute the parquet board can be divided into one-strip, two-way and three-lane parquet. The first type imitates parquet from the massive board, two second one- a piece parquet. The average layer is usually made of pine a board, the bottom layer is made of plywood.

Premises
First of all you should be defined with a room for musical needs prevalue. If you can afford it to you, a room in which except for the equipment there will be only a sofa for comfortable listening will be the ideal variant. And it is quite undesirable to obstruct room with sofa, wardrobe, table, chairs, the TV set. It’s not so absolutely bad, but in this case you will listen to music “as all other people” will.
The upholstered furniture, however, won’t make any harm. And it is highly recommended to get rid of the mezzanine (or something similar, made of glass or metal). Glass, as is known, “likes” to jingle loudly, especially from low-frequency sounds, and we don’t really need this.
Talking about the architecture of the room, it is possible to say that in ideal, it should represent a parallelepiped and to be as larger as possible. These are the typical acoustic concepts. If the room has the different sizes on length, width and height - you can fully hope for the best sound broadcasting. And, when the length though one wall will coincide with height of a room, there will be a low-frequency resonance and it will spoil all sound effect with the booming sounding.
Soft and velvety wall-papers will “spare” your neighbors’ ears from loud noise and liquidate that low-frequency resonance if it nevertheless arises. Besides such wall-papers and velvet portieres will effectively absorb a sound, not allowing it to be reflected from walls and to force to jingle.
Techniques accommodation
For competent installation, first of all, you should buy a rack for the equipment. First of all, such installation system looks good. Secondly, you will not get confused in wires, and all techniques will appear in one convenient place. Thus the “correct” rack will allow improving acoustic characteristics of all system. Now it is a high time to place columns. If you have the four high-frequency satellites, you should place them in the corners. And if you have only two columns it recommended placing the face-to-face wall corners. You should put them behind sofa and to tilt satellites on twenty degrees from the center of a room
